At any point in time, he has numerous girlfriends. Too many to even call it a mere scandal. He's the type of douchebag to declare loudly and proudly that he's not serious about any of the women he's with.
Feels a camaraderie with the protagonist as a fellow douchebag that isn't mutually shared.
